Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between you and TruckPark Pty Ltd (ABN 55 695 402 423), trading as StorageFinder ("we", "us", "our", "the Platform"). By accessing or using StorageFinder, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
StorageFinder is an online marketplace that connects vehicle and equipment owners ("Storers") with property owners who have available storage space ("Hosts"). We facilitate the booking process and handle payments but are not a party to the storage agreement between Storers and Hosts.
Booking Lifecycle
Each booking on the Platform follows these stages:
- Request & Payment: The Storer submits a booking request (or a custom offer) and completes payment via Stripe. Bookings of 30 days or longer may be set up as recurring subscriptions; shorter bookings are charged as a one-time payment. The Host only receives booking requests after payment has been confirmed.
- Approval: The Host reviews and approves or declines the paid request within 72 hours. If the Host declines or does not respond, the Storer receives a full refund. Listings with instant book enabled are approved automatically after payment.
- Active: The booking becomes active on the agreed start date. Both parties may optionally complete The Handover — a photo-documented condition check of the vehicle and storage space.
- Collection & Completion: When the booking period ends, items must be collected before the booking is marked complete. For one-time bookings, daily overstay charges apply until collection is confirmed. Either party can confirm collection via the platform.
- Payout: The Host receives 85% of the booking amount via their connected Stripe account, in accordance with the payout terms in section 6 below.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Host Obligations
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listed spaces comply with all applicable local council regulations, zoning laws, and safety requirements. Hosts must accurately represent their spaces including access type, security features, and capacity. Before listing, Hosts should review their legal obligations - see our Storage Compliance Guide and Insurance Information pages.
5. Storer Obligations
Storers must provide accurate vehicle details when making a booking. Storers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy (where applicable), properly insured, and do not contain hazardous materials unless explicitly agreed upon with the Host.
6. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. A 15% platform fee is charged on each booking. Hosts receive 85% of the booking amount. Listing on the platform is free for Hosts.
Founder Host Programme. Hosts who publish their first listing during the launch period receive Founder Host status, which entitles them to a 0% platform fee for 6 months from the Platform’s official launch date. After the 6-month period expires, the standard 15% platform fee applies. Existing Founder Hosts will retain their 0% rate for the full duration of their 6-month period, regardless of when the programme closes to new registrations. StorageFinder reserves the right to end the Founder Host programme for new registrations at any time, with reasonable notice published on the Platform.
Host payouts are initiated after the booking check-in date, subject to payment processing times. Typical payout times are 2–5 business days but may vary depending on your bank, weekends, public holidays, and Stripe account status.
All transactions must occur through the Platform. Payments made outside the Platform ("off-platform payments") void all dispute resolution protections, Handover records, and any support we would otherwise provide.
GST and Tax
- The 15% platform fee is GST-inclusive for GST-registered Hosts.
- Listing prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Hosts who earn above the AUD $75,000 GST registration threshold are responsible for registering for GST with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). It is each Host's responsibility to determine whether they meet this threshold.
- StorageFinder may issue recipient-created tax invoices (RCTIs) to GST-registered Hosts who have entered into an RCTI agreement with us.
- StorageFinder does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Hosts should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their GST obligations and any other tax matters.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms vary by listing and are displayed on each listing page. Three policy levels are available: Flexible, Moderate, and Strict. The refund schedule for each policy is set out below.
Cancellation Refund Schedule
| Policy | 7+ days before start | 1–7 days before start | Less than 24h before start | After start date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flexible | Full refund | Full refund | Full refund | Prorated refund for unused days |
| Moderate | Full refund | 50% refund | No refund | No refund |
| Strict | 50% refund | No refund | No refund | No refund |
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.
- The platform fee component of a booking is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
- For recurring bookings cancelled mid-billing cycle, the current billing period is prorated and any unused portion is refunded in accordance with the applicable policy above.
Your cancellation rights under these Terms are in addition to, and do not limit, any rights you may have under Australian consumer protection legislation.
8. Liability
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable Australian consumer protection law.
Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, StorageFinder acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not liable for any damage to vehicles, equipment, or property that occurs during a storage arrangement. We strongly recommend that both Hosts and Storers maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8A. Booking Support (Discretionary Goodwill Reimbursement)
Booking Support is a discretionary goodwill commitment by TruckPark Pty Ltd (trading as StorageFinder). It is not insurance, not a contract of insurance, not an offer to insure, and does not constitute a financial product. It does not replace, supplement, or act as an alternative to insurance obtained or obtainable by you.
StorageFinder may, in its sole and absolute discretion, make a goodwill payment to a user who experiences documented out-of-pocket costs as a result of damage to or theft of stored items during the booking period at a listed storage location. StorageFinder has no obligation to make any payment and may decline any request without providing reasons.
Any payment, if made, will not exceed AUD $1,000 per booking. One request per booking.
Eligibility: An active booking on the platform; damage or theft occurring at the listed storage location during the booking period; a request submitted within 30 days of the incident; supporting evidence provided; and no breach of these Terms of Service.
Exclusions: Wear and tear, gradual deterioration, pre-existing damage, items not disclosed at the time of booking, damage occurring outside the booking period, force majeure, civil unrest, natural disaster, consequential loss, and fraud.
The provision of a payment under Booking Support in one instance does not create any obligation or precedent for future payments. StorageFinder may modify or discontinue Booking Support at any time without notice.
StorageFinder strongly recommends that all users maintain their own insurance coverage appropriate to the items being stored.
StorageFinder Pty Ltd. This is not a financial product under the Corporations Act 2001.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruckPark Pty Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms;
- any inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information in your listings or booking requests;
- your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- your infringement of any third-party rights; and
- any claims arising from storage arrangements you enter into through the Platform.
10. Intellectual Property
Platform IP: All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property on the Platform are owned by or licensed to TruckPark Pty Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
Your content: By uploading photos, descriptions, reviews, or other content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, display, modify, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content.
You represent and warrant that any content you upload does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
Your right to close: You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closure will not affect any active bookings or pending payouts, which will be processed in accordance with these Terms.
Our right to suspend or terminate: We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- breach these Terms or any applicable law;
- engage in fraudulent, dishonest, or illegal activity;
- engage in behaviour that threatens the safety or wellbeing of other users, including harassment, property damage, or misrepresentation;
- repeatedly receive negative reviews or unresolved disputes; or
- fail to respond to or comply with a reasonable request from our support team.
Where practicable, we will provide notice before suspension or termination and give you an opportunity to respond, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the safety of users or the integrity of the Platform.
Consequences of termination: Upon termination, active bookings will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Pending payouts will be released in accordance with our standard payout schedule, subject to any holds related to disputes or investigations. The following clauses survive termination: Liability (section 8), Indemnity (section 9), Intellectual Property (section 10), Dispute Resolution (section 12), and Governing Law (section 18).
12. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a Storer and a Host, the following process applies:
- Direct negotiation (14 days): Both parties should first attempt to resolve the matter directly through the Platform's messaging system.
- Platform-facilitated mediation (14 days): If direct negotiation does not resolve the dispute, either party may request mediation through StorageFinder. We will review the available evidence, including Handover records, booking details, and communications, and propose a resolution.
- External resolution: If the dispute remains unresolved, either party may refer the matter to a state or territory Consumer Affairs or Fair Trading body, or pursue external mediation.
- Courts: As a last resort, disputes may be referred to the courts of Queensland.
Nothing in this clause limits your right to seek urgent injunctive or interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
13. Electronic Transactions
You consent to receive all communications, agreements, and notices electronically, including by email and through notifications on the Platform. In accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth) and applicable state and territory legislation, electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for communications to be in writing.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where the failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, government orders, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or payment processor outages.
15. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TruckPark Pty Ltd in relation to your use of the Platform. Content on guide pages, help articles, and marketing materials is provided for informational purposes only and does not form part of these Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts that may hear appeals from those courts.
